If you are one of those people, you would be happy to know that there is a plethora of activities to do in Cherrapunji:

If you are craving a great adventure then go to Krem Mawmluh Cave. With only one-fourth of the cave receiving sunlight, and many waist-deep pools of water forming during monsoons, you will be in for an unforgettable experience.
Other honorable mentions are Arwah Caves and Krem Liat Prah.
2. Enjoy River Boating in Dawki
The Dawki river, also known as River Umngot, is a popular spot of Cherrapunji you can visit in one day. With its crystal-clear waters, the picturesque river looks like glistening gems of turquoise and emerald, right off the pages of a fairy tale!
Taking a boat ride upon this natural wonder feels nothing short of a dream. To the bystander, it may appear as if the boat is floating on glass. You can even peer into the thriving marine life as your boat glides by.
3. Experience the Rush of Ziplining
For all the adventurous souls out there, ziplining at Mawkdok Valley is the ultimate adventure sport you can enjoy in Cherrapunji. Soak in the bird’s eye views of the lush green valley underneath, as you traverse for a length of 2600 feet at a height of 1200 feet, while suspended in an air-borne pulley, attached to strong cables. If you need to pick up the pace of your trip, ziplining is without question one of the most thrilling things to do in Cherrapunji.
4. Go on a Trek
Cherrapunji’s mountainous trails, surrounded by mystical green forests, are a trekker’s paradise. As you embark upon your trek, you are bound to experience a thrill that will bring life-changing epiphanies with it.
Go on a 7-hour trek to Double Decker Root Bridge and Natural Swimming Pools and fill up your gallery with amazing shots. Or take on the 12 km trek from old Nongwar to Old Nongkroh via an ancient trail.
For amateur trekkers or just tourists looking to explore, a 1 km trek to Umkar Root Bridge would be perfect.
5. Engage in Birdwatching
Meghalaya is home to about 600 species of beautiful birds, both indigenous and migratory. These include Dark Rumped Swift, Green Cochoa, Crested Finchbill, Blue Winged Laughing Thrush, and many more.
You are most likely to catch a sight of these beauties on your trek, or if you’re lucky, in between the spots. So, it’s better to be always prepared with a camera. But be careful not to disturb or frighten them.
Although it is completely up to you - whether you want an activity packed vacation or you wouldn’t mind a few activities mixed in with your time of rest and relaxation. But one thing is for certain - Cherrapunji will never disappoint you!
