The festival’s encapsulating stage presence and its magnetic aura earned the attention of Rolling Stones. In 2004, the American magazine referred to the event as one of the best “Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll”. It received the 19th rank in a total of 50. By 2017, the festival location found itself in the list of the National Register of Historic Places.
