Hotel Polo Towers Group has a Glorious journey of 30 years & more. The now North East India's Largest Hotel Company once started with a premium Property - Hotel Polo Towers Shillong in 1991. The Group also has a celebrated iconic hilltop boutique resort Polo Cherrapunjee Resort. The Group has been a first mover of the tourism market in Meghalaya, a state earlier irrelevant of the tourist map of India but which is now one of the fastest growing tourist Destination in the country. Floatel in Kolkata is the first floating hotel in south East Asian is also a property of Polo Towers Group. The group also has Hotel Polo in Tura.

Not only hotel the group also has a unique balance of cafes with it. ML 05 celebrates shillong’s love for cars, bikes and foods. Dylan’s café is shillong’s first and only café that pays homage to legendary Bob Dylan. Hoitea Toitea being the shillong’s only legendary dukan cha serving 30 varieties of Tea.

With the New Year 2021 beginning the group added one more feather to its hat by adding Tripura’s Only 5 star Hotel Polo Towers Agartala. The Group also has recently added Woodstock Resort in Shillong and Lake Side Resort Neermahal in Agartala.

Hotel Polo Towers believes in Nature friendly Development. The group promote developmental activities depending on the bearing capacity of nature and its resources.The Group has successfully executed and completed 9 properties in 5 states. 8 out of 9 Projects are on PPP. They aim to have a balance of the tri – stakeholder model – entrepreneur/government/guest.

The group has created destinations where none existed before. Cherrapunjee was a trip destination which is now a renowned stay over destination. They are interested in investing more into this part of North East India and development of these areas will glorify the whole Journey of Hotel Polo Towers Group. The Ultimate aim of Polo Towers Group is to reveal the of the most unrevealed & mysterious part of India, being the voice of North East India which has to be heard by the rest of India.

KISHAN TIBREWALLA

Chairman and Whole-time Director

Kishan Tibrewalla has been associated with the Company since its incorporation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from North-Eastern Hill University. With more than 39 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he provides Leadership to the Board and guides the Company’s overall Strategic Direction. He has been honored by the Rotary Club of Shillong for over 35 years of remarkable Dedication, Leadership, and Service to the Community. He also serves as the President of the Meghalaya Hindu Mission (formerly Assam Hindu Mission), is a Member of the Institute of Hotel Management, and is associated with the Paul Harris Society.

DEVAL TIBREWALLA

Whole-time Director & CEO

Deval Tibrewalla has been associated with the Company since May 11, 2006. He studied Commerce (Honours) at the University of Calcutta and has completed the Hotel Operations Programme at École Hôtelière de Lausanne, where he received a Certificate for the Best Overall Grade Point Average in Management. With over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he is responsible for providing Strategic Leadership, driving Business Growth, and managing the Company’s overall Operations.

Prashant Gupta has been a member of our Board since April 9, 2025, and has been associated with the Company since January 15, 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and a Master’s Degree in International Finance and Professional Accounting from Deakin University, Australia. With over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he is responsible for overseeing the Company’s overall Financial Strategy, Planning, Reporting, Compliance, and driving Sustainable Growth.
