The Ujjayanta Palace is a former royal palace in Tripura. It is said that the name of the place was given by Rabindranath Tagore himself when he frequented the place. It was built in the early 1900s, one of the magnificent palaces from the last century. Until 2011, Ujjayanta Palace was the legislative assembly of Tripura until it was shifted to Gurkhabasti. It is now a museum, an important tourist place in Agartala, located just 3.2 km from Hotel Polo Towers, our hotel in Agartala.
