Journey through the Abode of Clouds, Meghalaya

Famous for its rainfall and living root bridges, Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra is located 60 kilometres from Shillong. The mesmerizing beauty of its natural caves, cascading waterfalls and many other beautiful tourist spots, Sohra's natural beauty is one to behold! When visiting Sohra, make sure to get your adventurer's hat on and explore the famous living root bridge, visit the Nohkalikai Falls and the Mawsmai Cave among other tourist spots.

• Living Root Bridge – The most challenging, famous trekking spot, it tops the list of things to do in Cherrapunjee. Situated in Nongriat, approximately 12 kilometres from Cherrapunjee, this tourist spot is a natural wonder!
• Nohkalikai Falls – Located in the East Khasi Hills district, is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. It is one of the most photogenic spots of Sohra. You can take the trek down to the clear blue-green pool of the falls.
